Kids Resource Centre - KRC: Who are we?

The Kids Resource Centre (KRC) is a moulding ground for kids from early years because we believe that grooming them from a young age will keep our communities safe from* a lot of societal vices prevalent among the youth population.

The KRC is a kids' hub that provides and equips the young with a wide range of life-building skills ranging from problem-solving, creative thinking, communication arts, decision-making, empathy and lots more.

Our Centre is a beauty to behold. Beautifully painted with popping colours and artworks, for the kids, it is a home away from home.

At the entrance of the Centre is an eye-catching reception which stands next to the book hub(Library) that accommodates about 4,000 books. The books consist of storybooks, school books, parenting books, teachers resources, cooking books and recipes, and lots more. Next on the right is an audiovisual room where kids watch videos and connect with other kids in other parts of the world.

Also, we have the conference room, counselling room, game zone, little creche, kitchenette, and a detention room to manage misbehaviours. We have between 20 - 50 kids visiting the centre on a daily basis and the number keeps rising.

The Center is open Monday to Saturday to kids of the community and runs a number of exciting activities such as Phonics Clinic, Island star book club, Music and dance, I can Draw, Media and Art.

The Center also organizes annual parents conferences, kids summer camps and teacher professional development training.
